Glass Bead Making/Lampworking - Ginger Kelly

Learn the basics of making glass beads on a torch, with an introduction to safety, tools, and techniques. Each student will learn how to wind simple round beads and form them into cylinders and disks. Next students will learn how to make stringers, twisties, and use millefiories to decorate their beads. Once these techniques are mastered, students will be encouraged to explore and create as many varieties as they can. For those students who wish to take this new obsession to the next level, the instructor will offer advanced classes.
